Questo � un elenco delle entit� HTML con il relativo codice, previste dalla versione standard 2.0 dell'HTML. Esse dovrebbero essere supportate da tutti i browser prodotti negli ultimi due - tre anni. Nello standard HTML 4.0 ne vengono definite molte altre, che per� potrebbero non essere supportate da versioni non recentissime dei browser.

E' anche possibile codificare un qualsiasi carattere ASCII nell'HTML scrivendolo come &#nn, dove nn � il codice ASCII decimale del carattere.
